Elevated Lakes Strawguva Rosin cakey dense texture on dab tool
Elevated Lakes Strawguva Rosin

Elevated Lakes has been making waves with its solventless rosin offerings, and their Strawguva strain is no exception. A cross of Strawguva, this rosin presents an intriguing mix of fruity and cakey elements, promising a layered terpene experience. I took this one for a spin at 520°F through a slurper to see how it truly performs.

Look: The Strawguva rosin leans more on the cakey side, with a dense texture that, after a little agitation, starts to develop a noticeable sweat. While not the wettest rosin at first glance, it quickly reveals a terpene-rich consistency.

Smell: This one comes in strong—offensively sharp with guava dominating the back end, creating an aroma that aggressively climbs up your nose. The strawberry is more subtle but makes its presence known in the initial burst of scent.

Taste: On both the inhale and exhale, the strawberry shines through, delivering a creamy berry flavor that’s smooth and rich. The guava is less dominant but lingers in the aftertaste, creating a unique effect reminiscent of how cucumber water leaves a subtle flavor coating your palate.

Smoothness: While not the smoothest dab I’ve ever taken, it also wasn’t particularly harsh. The melt was slightly darker than ideal, and I noticed some mild pins-and-needles sensation in the back of my throat, but minimal irritation in my nose or chest.

Preferred Temp & Method: 520°F through a slurper provided the best balance of flavor and vapor production.

Overall: Elevated Lakes’ Strawguva is a solid pick for those who enjoy fruity, cakey profiles with a strong guava presence. While the smoothness could be improved, the unique lingering effect of the guava and creamy strawberry inhale make it a standout experience. If you’re a flavor chaser looking for something different, this one is worth checking out.
